no wifi

so, i havent had wifi in awhile, and i dont really like blogging without being able to post pictures, cuz who really reads the stuff anyways, we all just like looking at the pictures. and i have good ones too. hopefully at our next city i can get some alone time with some wifi and catch up.

we are in a city called calama right now. it is a mining city. the largest copper mine in the world is here. maggie and i are staying with the same family which is cool. we opted out of going to the grocery store so we could stay home and get some internet time. note that it is 930 pm here and we are starting to bbq dinner at 10. things happen late here. last night was our first night here. our family took us to dinner, and let me tell you it was insane. i am taking full advantage of not being a vegetarian here. ive been here since the 27th and i literally have chosen my own food twice. and its always meat, so i wouldnt have been able to keep up with being a veggie if i tried. so last night we went to a steak house, and i got the house special. filet wrapped in bacon with merlot sauce. freaking amazing. incredible.
so we are all very tired. dora went to the hospital last night for stomach cramps but i hear she is feeling much better today. maggie jacked up her toe and my right leg is not really doing its job. but i guess these things are expected.
today was super cool, we went to some hot springs and layed in front of the waterfall for ever. then we went to moon valley which is covered in salt, it was amazing i would show you pictures if i could.
tomorrow is professional day, but they couldnt figure out what to do with me so i am going to the local university and going to talk to some english classes. which sounds like fun :) i had a blast at the design college i got to go to, i havent blogged about that yet cuz i was trying to go in order, so im looking forward to tomorrow.
things are going well, i could never have guessed what chile was going to be like, but im stoked i came. im definitely home sick, but that is normal. i miss you all and hope everything is good :)
